Disintegration

He takes another look at her,
And she’s nobody’s treasure anymore.
She disintegrates like all beautiful things,
Shatters into a million, little, glittering pieces,
Waiting for the wind to sweep the fragments away,
Just so she can wrap herself around him again.

When India appears and reappears
